Friends,
Our time was well spent on the Nile. Moses actually rafted the river a few years back… IN A BASKET! Well nowadays they raft in rafts and we spent the past couple of days on two of them. We fell a few times each, drank from the Nile, and together made our way out safely. The UAPO has generously offered us a beautiful place to stay for the night before we trek through the market tomorrow. We’ll hop on our plane tomorrow evening and arrive home sometime soon. “Every picture tells a story” Rod Stewart said that. We’ll be sure to express our wonderful time here through pictures. “Can’t you see what love has done” U2 said that. Love has been a powerful force here in Uganda for a while now and from what we’ve seen over the past eleven days, it continues to be a driving force in each of these YL leaders’ lives. It shows in the way they have committed their lives to the Lord and their friends. “Apart from me you can do nothing” Jesus said that. The strength of the Lord that demands our fear of Him has become real here. Our time has been so very well spent. I can’t wait to return home to you.

I am praying for your safe return and know that God will continue to work in your lives in amazing ways in the states if you continue to focus on Him! The God of Africa is the God of the United States we just have to allow him to move! I have loved hearing all about your adventures and can't wait to see your pictures.
